Slightly cloudy yellow colour and small white head and lace. Light citrus-grassy aroma. Light-bodied. Citrus, pine, pale malts very high ABU which I like.

Listed as a pale ale at the brewery, which it is. West coast pale. Nice.

Enjoyably piney, very fresh, straight from the tank.

Bergamot and pine nose. Dry, bitter and yeasty opening on the buds with pine, grapefruit peel and bready undertone with tads of toffee.

Taster from Ulrik. Farty taste. Piney and bitter

Astringent aroma, sharp hoppiness storms across the palate before soothing down to a gentle murk, murky bitter aftertaste. Commanding.

Finally Åben has grasped the concept of west coast ipa's. Crisp, clean, grassy. Could certainly use more bitterness but it's a start. Keep practicing, Åben peeps. You're almost there

Hverken den mest frugtige, humlet eller bitre, men ligger sig lidt midt imellem det hele. Den mangler lidt af det hele, men er et ganske fint bud på en udmærket West Coast IPA.
