Pours quite yellow and slightly hazy. Some sediment can also be seen in the beer. Palate is dry and very citrus filled. Bitter finish. Somewhere between the east and west coast. Not really anything special and won't go there again #balconybeer

DØF 2024. Last one tasted at the festival this year. Might have forgotten to check in one or two though. This was a mix of a stout and a barleywine. Very grainy and light bodied, I really enjoyed the simplicity here.

Tasting board #5. Pours pitch black with a large head. Smoky aroma. Palate has chocolate and tobacco notes. Fairly easy to drink for the abv.

Didn't work well for the beer that it was dry hopped. It was herbal which gave it a sourish touch. But I'm not complaining since it was my first #balconybeer of the season 😎

Made with impressive 19 hops - hense the name 😜. Aroma and palate has mandarine notes. Also some pine needles. Bitter finish

Holds 5.5% abv and not 0% as stated on Untappd for some reason. It's very fruity but also heavy sweet fruity. Canned sometime during summer and that could be the reason why it doesn't seem fresh but heavy.

Last of my bottles witv til, fra, via 🥺. Like the '16 version shared with Ulrik and my brother. Lots of spices in both nose and mouth like cloves, star anice. The spices makes the porter light bodied in a good way and gives it a nice taste of Liqourice

Pours a cobber colour with a small head. Aroma is pretty belgian (spices). Palate is sweet with banana notes mainly.

Pours hazy orange with a big fluffy head. Sweet aroma. Palate is slightly bitter with some resinous notes, along with some grapefruit. A little thin bodied and the apperance isn't really west coast. Otherwise a decent wc ipa.

Jyllinge Ølfestival. Blind tasting #8. Mads V. Contribution. No doubt in my mind that this was a imp stout. But what tricked me was the abv. My guess was 9.5% but actually it has 12%. That abv was hidden in one smooth package. 2nd ci + 0.2

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) J

Marshmellow, maple and roasted coffee beans. A little too roasted for it to be truly excellent.

This isn't oxidised as the '21 edition. This bw is sweet with notes of figs, molasses and vanilla. Very easy to drink for the abv

Another great IPA from Gamma, this is where they shine IMO. This was a sort of hybrid between east and wc. Looks like a NEIPA but tastes more like a wc IPA. Palate has citrus, melon and a little pine which makes it nicely bitter. Never sweet. #balconybeer
