Quiz night @⬆️. #7 in the Quiz tonight! Tough one 2nite 🤓😬. BUT we won the beer round 🤩🍻. Last quiz before the summer 😔. Great re visit to this great west coast IPA

Collab with O/O 🇸🇪. Close to style but too heavy on the bitterness. Roasted coffee beans and bread.

I agree with people who are into this tipa. It's bloody great. Not a big fan of tipas but this differs from the lot with It's drinkability and Tropical smoothness

West coast style IPA. Hoppy, piney, grapefruit, bitter.

Oh dear this is far from their master ipa. This is extremely anonymous and boring!

Fresh as they come! Canned today 🔹️ bought today 🔹️ consumed today. Well deserved I reckon after oiling the floor on my balcony - twice. Now my appartement smells of tar 🤣. Great fruity ipa with a little hop burn 🔥

Lci: yesterday quiz night @⬆️. Juicy and bitter dipa. Ended up 4th in the quiz. We were quite happy about that.

Nicely roasted red ale. I stand with Ukraine too, but just as much with Afghanistan and Syria.

Final beer in the great Scottish company 🏴🥺. Beer was nice a good ordeal of tropical marmelade and solid hop finish bitterness
about 3 years ago
Brown ale which is too roasted for it to be a proper brown ale. Roasted Coffee beans in palate which gives it a sour touch. Nose is more promesing with dried figs.

Tried the red wedding and loved it. Now for the white wedding! I couldn't tell in a blind tasting that this was port wine barrel aged. But I love the complexity of this stout and it is def the best beer 2nite from Fanø.

Gorm the Old - Rum Cask Edition J
Needs a little bit of getting used to in a way. But it really opens up it has warming alchohol notes from the rhum cask. Not better than the regular Gorm but almost just as good.

Here for Fanø TTO @⬆️. Hoppy and bitter. Citrus, grapefruit and lemon. Very tropical and fresh tasting

Taster from Ulrik. I really didn't enjoy this one. Really unpleasant taste.
Chocolate, vanilla and maple syrup. Quite smooth and a very easy drinker that hides the abv almost too well.

Oh la la... from 2016 and the aroma is spot on with moldy and barrel aged notes. Palate is boozy with vanilla and dry coffee. Yum 😋. Didn't know Ølsnedkeren kept lmp stouts for this long but I love it.

Fresh and dry hopped dipa. Not overly sweet which is a good thing in my book.
Fresh with citrus notes - seems like a very straight down the road kellerbier. Dry finish. Collab with Stigbergets

2nd check in. Shared with Ulrik and his father. Still a slight cannabis aroma and agressive hops. Better with food than without.

Only #3 to check this beauty in. Def a coffee stout, but Luckily it isn't roasted to shit. It's still creamy and very easy drinking for 10%abv

Copenhagen B. Describes this perfectly. Piney and bitter but just forgettable.

#Fyraftensbajer. Not the best I've had from Gamma but it works nontheless. Tropical stone fruits and wheat. Massive head when poured.
Grainy and lightly smoked nose. Palate is semi sweet and light for the abv. Fanø proves again they are the masters of the strong beer and IMO imp stouts. Chocolate and vanilla notes. If was ever to get Økuller this would help me out for sure.

Great classic west coast IPA. Not xmas like whatsoever bit ending in a good bitterness.
Too bitter an IPA for my liking. Orange peel and a little coriander. Very dry
over 3 years ago
Sold here black swan as a porter. Sour roasted notes up front. Gets better when warmer though. Very light bodied for 7% abv. Will never be a fave of mine

Taster from the friendly bartender. Sherry, vanilla, dried fruits. Really good, complex stout.

3 weeks of holidays is starting today 😎. Dark chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla and coffee. Quite smooth and soft mouthfeel.

Finishing off with this great barleywine. It's quite classic in a way but also quite hoppy for a BW.
Reubs actually describes this beer really well. I enjoyed this one even though it is too bitter for a NEIPA
over 3 years ago
Classic Gamma taste actually. Liked the pale ales from Burnt Mill yesterday a bit more.

Smooth son of a b.... such a nice blend between a barleywine and a imp stout. It's a light bodied stout in a very good way!
Ok bitter west coast thing. Brings nothing new to the table either.
Taster from Ulrik. Aroma has diacetyl. Palate is luckily not diacetyl but just sweet caramel which suits a light bock just fine. But something is just not spot on.

Taster from Ulrik. Citrus opening with some grapefruit. Good mouthfeel for 3%! A little sour finish

Earlier tonight. Quality time with one of my closest friends. Solid bitter IPA with a Tropical base

Nothing like Whisky and rye on a saturday afternoon. Vanilla and wood. A little peated and very smooth.

First is sweet marcipan notes, then finishes off with a nice bitterness and notes of chestnuts and hazelnut.

Seems very fresh cause its a bit harshly hopped. But otherwise a very nice refreshment in 24°c.

Reminded me of After eight actually. Very mint chocolate ish. Not my fave but really nicely light bodied for the abv.

Sweet DIPA nose. Palate is more heavy on the hops but again you don't sense the high abv.

Really fresh. Only 12 days old! Fruity and fresh tasting. No where in hell does the palate indicate a Dipa. So very well hidden abv. Great stuff from Åben.
Actually Smells like cannabis like Denys R. stated. Thin bodied on a base of oatmeal.

Dipa with west coast bitterness. Actually quite bitter for a Dipa but I dig it.

Straight down the road west coast IPA. Gets too heavy and difficult to drink quite quickly though.

Taster from Ulrik. Looks like mud water! Quite hoppy with notes of menthol.
Quite fruity esp tangerine. More hops emerge with time. Just a fine IPA.
Soft mouthfeel with notes of grapefruit and citrus juice. Well made for a low abv
almost 4 years ago
Really good west coast IPA. Notes of tangerine, pine and pineapple. Good hop kick.

Been waiting to try this for some time now. Big fudge lover but there isn't much fudge flavour here. But no doubt about it being a pastry stout. Chocolate, vanilla and toffee
almost 4 years ago
Maybe mainstream but a good one! Some nice Tropical flavours and nice creamy mouthfeel.
Very tart and lacking some more fruit taste. No, not a fan. Also why the need for 7%?

Single hopped with Idaho 7. Pomelo and grapefruit. Very refreshing. #balconybeer
about 4 years ago
Single hopped with Motueka. Very fresh tasting. Pineapple and lime and maybe a little herbal. #balconybeer

Grainy, bready and malty as a märzen should be. Hides the 6.2 % too well.
Coffee, chocolate, Roasted and Liqourice notes. Nice stout, but slightly too roasted IMO.
Cherry blossom trees are getting ready to show themselves 🌺. Drank this a bit quicker than I wanted too since all public toilets were closed for some reason 🥺. Anyways a really nice dry ipa
about 4 years ago
Wauw‼️ What a great surprise. Excellent sipa - quite hoppy with notes of esp pineapple. Extremely quaffable.
Marshmellows up front.. then more sweetness with chocolate and a little (thank you 🙏🏼) hint of cinnamon. Weird combo of flavours. Dogfish Head are better at IPA'S

2nd go at this. Nope still too bitter and too tasteless. Not gonna go here again. ➗0.3
