WoW.. so this is barrel aging from red wine? Leftovers from the Fanø Bryghus TTO yesterday • flavor overdo the aroma • perfect rich & sticky texture • 1st sip was awesome • slowly more tannins, but quite tamed • surely a 🍺 to salute the Fanøs skills!

Finally get to try this intense stout. Aroma is coffee and red Wine ba. Taste is sweet with cocoa, coffee and a little sourness from the barrel. Subtle hint of vanilla in the end. Just a very Nice complex stout.

2000 unique beers up and this one isn’t the celebration I’d hope. It wears its lactose heavily, cloying the mouth, yet the mouthfeel isn’t there if it’s meant to be 12.2%. Hints of red wine but not huge. Oh well.
