Wow! What a treat! Grainy opening with dried fruits and all, good barrel notes with faint vanilla and complexity. Yes, it's sweet but also dry and roasted. Stays really drinkable throughout, and ABV is hidden. The drinkability is in the driver's seat also

Grainy and lightly smoked nose. Palate is semi sweet and light for the abv. Fanø proves again they are the masters of the strong beer and IMO imp stouts. Chocolate and vanilla notes. If was ever to get Økuller this would help me out for sure.

Alle elementer i øllen fremstår tydeligt og harmonisk. Sød uden at være kaget. Super vellykket!

Raisins, prunes and general dried fruits, smooth booze, chocolate, sweet and sugary fruity. Great barrel integration. Drinks smooth, does not hide the abv but shows it in a pleasant and integrated way

En lidt røget smag, som gør at den ikke stryger helt til tops på min liste. Men stadig rigtig god. En god kraftig smag, med sødme fra bl.a. chokolade og et hint af vanilje.

This is more complex. Chocolate, coffee, roast, oak, whisky barrel. Less drinkable but def interesting. Fanø knows how to make stout.

11,7% Imperial Stout (Stauning Whisky Lagret). Duft af lækker mørk øl/Stout og god whisky). Smag af god stout, note af kaffe, kakao og en fantastisk undertone af whisky. En virkelig super god øl. Absolut en gensmag værd.
