By comparison to any other Kriek I’ve ever had, this is beautifully balanced. I can’t imagine how it could be better. Sweet, sour, so smooth. Delicious.

First taste of a Cantillon, worth every superlative in the language. A special treat to get to randomly chat with the man responsible for Americans getting to taste this magical elixir in America:Tom Peters. Tart,stardust,cherry,aether,oak,life.

Delicious mineral iron copper tart cherry some cherry spice elements smooth funk crisp dry delicious faint cherry pie but very dry.

This is the ultimate kriek. The original! High acidity and a distinct nose of brett and subtle notes of cherry. The scent is almost like my grandfathers basement. I visited this brewery back in the early 90’s. Their brews are still divine.

Sweet ripe cherry permeates this brew. There's an almost creamy lactose sort of note along the way, balancing the vinegar-like tartness. There's also an effect in here that recalls soft herbals. Tart, dry, and magnificent.

Taste way too much like jolly ranchers. Probably would be better if it had some vanilla extract and marshmallow
