Rich, deep wood and funk. Barrel is so rich and full. Bottle is perfect, caramel and vinous. Nothing compared to the bottle Dennis opened at BFNA.

What is most amazing is how this bottle survives 30+ years. Look at the color: no brown tendencies. Of course it should have lost something, it has maybe past its prime but the strong lemonish and tartness is mindblowing. The hand of Jean-Pierre 4.70

LCI. Can’t really give this a favorable rating as I’m unsure of the provenance. A bit dank-musty oxidized and vinegary. Hopefully the one we plan on opening next year is better.
