I get a good bit of clove from this, particularly as it warms. Smooth, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, clove, boozy, but nicely balanced.

Kraftig mörk choklad. Vanilj. Lätt spritvarm, trevlig smak av fatlagringen. Lång, lång eftersmak. Från 2016.

Bottled 5/9/16. No signs of a weakening taste profile as of yet. Just wish this was a bit thicker. But very tasty. 4.2

This definitely one of the better ba stouts I've had, heavy bourbon character, had this weird note that I've noticed many vanilla stouts have that I'm not a fan of. The rest makes up for it though.

Wow. Had this 2016 bottle 3 months ago as well and it was fireworks, but now it has become a huge letdown. Vanilla gone. Bad bottle, or more likely: past its prime :-(

Deep dark black with tan lacing. Strong bourbon nose, with vanilla riding out. Taste balances sweet bean vanilla against dark coffee, and chocolate finds a place. Vanilla takes center stage as it should. Bourbon warmth and booze finish. Mikkeller ftw.

Bottled 2016. Very smooth, thick, coffee forward and vanilla is still noticable. Amazing beer!

Po 5 latach cały czas klasa. Może i niektóre nuty pouciekały, ale beczka cały czas wyraźnie wyczuwalna.

Favorite of the night. Rich chocolate/bourbon notes and the vanilla almost tasted malted. Merits a gratuitous photo of my dog meeting a mini Aussie puppy.

Den er rigtig god. Meget tydelig vanille og fad. Der er tenderende til kokus duft/smag, men tror det er vanille der bare er intens. Fed og massiv i glasset

No ranking - much passed its prime for me. Spirit is indeed well integrated. Reminds me of nilla bcbs 18 in its icecream like quality. Also has some oxidized BW notes to it.Interesting to try!

Plat maar zal wel komen door de leeftijd. Bourbon vat nog steeds mooi aanwezig. ABV valt niet op. Niet slecht maar door de veroudering mis ik wat typerende toetsen doch nog steeds een top biertje!

PD 05/09/16 , one tasty stout. Quite funny to see this is brewed in Norway by Lervig, imported to US by Shelton Brothers and then to DK via Mikkeller and now shipped to me in Norway via DHL 😂

[Backlog from Ratebeer, 2014] Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of malt, coffee, chocolate & vanilla. Flavours of roasted malt, dark fruits, lots & lots of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, licorice & soy. Full body and low carbonation. Very sweet.
