This beer is a perfect example of a “champagne beer”, just slightly sour and blending the flavor of oak foeders and the wine they used to hold.

Definitely dry and a bit funky as well. Some hints of barrel ageing, a little tart on the finish.

Mooi fluweel zachte rinsheid, iets boerderij. Behoorlijk wat koolzuur. Briljante naamgeving.

Nicely sweet and wonderfully sour. I really love the fresh fruity flavours from the yeast, like a good cider.

Ji Belgokväll med böcker. Grymt välbalanserad. Saknar komplexitet. Men i övrigt grymt bra!

On reconnaît bien le lambic Boon, beau funk signature de la brasserie, mais il y a le genre de hummf à la Vandervelden. Extra vineux, floral, chêne, on dirait que tout ça vient couper l'acidité. Léger tannins, amertume, c'est vraiment bon.

De klare den faktisk godt med den her sour øl. Lækker syrlig, frugtig og frisk boblende. Lige som en skøn lambic skal være.
