My kind of bourbon stout. Smooth, chocolate, no peat. Dry oak in the aftertaste.

Litt mye sødme med en gang, selv i delvis avkjølt øl, men det balanseres ut etterhvert med varmen fra bourbon og frykten for valgresultatet (ja, båda 😉)

En riktig käftsmäll. Mööörk av bara fasiken. Den smakar bourbon fat och mörk choklad. Kaffi, plommon och fikon oxå. En grymt bra öl

Aside from the coffee I’d say this could do with some aging. The older vintage I had was miles better, though this is good as wel. Vanilla and lots of coffee. Wonderfully creamy body, bourbon, malty, chocolatey and boozy. Might be exceptional given time.

Traditional in the best of ways. No nonsense, coffee, dark chocolate and bourbon nose. Medium body, buttery, rich dark chocolate flavour, touch of licorice with a dark chocolate acidity. Oily feel. Bourbon just frames it all.

Lots of bourbon with coffee, soy and vanilla. Thick full-bodied mouthfeel with a real taste. Personally wish for more sweetness in stout but this is good, no doubt about it.

And for BA desert a Danish imperial oatmeal stout with coffee and vanilla aged in bourbon whiskey barrels; Full black dark and viscous stout with a dominant taste of pure chocolate with slight hints of roasted coffee and vanilla with a subtle boozyness.
