‘Cuz it’s Monday and I took the day off. Let’s call it Election Day Pre-game. This is a solid beer. Smooth coffee throughout with no bitterness and the right amount of hops. #ilovemondays

i'm confused to say so) wtf is this? oatmeal coffee stout that was injected with tons of hops and left for aging?) this one is 2016, coffeish, slightly bitter, roasty, bit sour finish, bit sweet oats, bit empty, pleasant in general but 0_o

EB 27/12/2012 (Bottle from Voldby Koebmandsgaard, DK) oily texture medium body. Aroma/taste is dark roasted malt, coffee, pine, hops (can really pick up the simcoe) nice balance of sweet/bitter. Very good.

Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty fresh hoppy chocolate and coffee aroma. Roasted malty hoppy bitter licorice and chocolate flavor with hints of coffee. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter finish.

Didn’t really taste like an ipa, more like a classic stout. Slightly bitter but not hop bitterness. Coffee and chocolate

I usually don't enjoy coffee in beer but this is still hopforward and rich in all aspects. Brewed in Stavanger, aha, det är lite norsk Nøgne stil över hela paletten och baletten. Black IPA is one of the hardest to brew successfully, IMHO.

Bottled 10/10/2016. Hoppy, bitter, roasty. Coffee flavors. Lightly creamy. Fairly balanced overall.

Bottle cap reads: FO:10/17/16 soooooo i expected it to be super buttery! It was not super buttery it was very good!

Dark chocolate on the nose. Dark chocolate and feint mint on the front of the palate with a dry dark roast coffee finish and a slight piney hop bite at the very end.

So I am definitely NOT a fan of this. But they did exactly what this beer should be extremely well. This is, objectively, a great beer

2017 W aromacie intensywny świerk, żywica, kawa, w tle czekolada. W smaku podobnie, półwytrawne, lekko szorstkie, popiołowe, odrobina słodyczy, wyraźna goryczka, i cała masa iglaków w towarzystwie kawy i prażonego ziarna. Pełne, gładkie od owsa. 4.2

Is roasty, hoppy. Not sure I get much more but def tasty. Dark and earthy. One of best cascadian I've had.

Still going strong after all these years. Had my last one before I had Untappd, some 3 years ago. Licorice, dark fruit, chocolate, roasted malts and some hops in the background

Roasty nose. Nice stone fruit element. Hops are light, herbal and floral. Very nice.

If I read the cap correctly, this 6 yo brew is good for another 4 years. Had a LOT of sold chunks but has largely liquified. Very tasty 😋

Очень богатое и многогранное послевкусие. Кофейный диапазон от эспрессо до латте с капуччино. Немного бы все же приглушил солод, хоть он и на вторых ролях. Весьма оригинальный микс портеровсих, темно-лагерных и стаутных «треков». Первый офиц. black IPA.
