Makea ja hienostunut stoutti, hyvä jälkiruuaksi. Kaakao ja vanilja maistuu. Viskitynnyri pyöristää ja syventää makua.

Dead smooth. Straight stout up front, no frills (but no heat either) before mellowing effortlessly into creamy chocolate. Would have liked a bit more barrel love, but the light spice and boozy nose was enough to lift the flavours out of the Hershey wrap.

3.70 I The palate is rather dominantly sweet with notes of cocoa and very light vanilla. In the finish a slight spiciness due to the barrel note. In my opinion a little too thin and a bit too sweet

Base presence is minimal, yet the spicy edge from the barrel saves the overall balance somewhat..

Now I’ve cancelled my Mikkeller Monthly Beer subscription I’m gonna miss their great Imperial Stouts. This is a superb 11.9% BA Whiskey stout with bags of flavour. However it’s not worth the money overall. Plenty of great UK impys to enjoy instead.

Not as sweet as the BGF bourbon, bit more spicy. Coffee, chocolate, vanilla and syrup.

Great, but a tiny bit too heavy on the rye tastes for my liking. Almost a bit like hard, sweet bread dipped in whiskey.

Great beer, nice taste from the vanilla. Some coffee and maybe some chocolate.

Good stuff. What you see is what you get. Bit on the sweet side and lacks a bit of complexity but otherwise a solid stout. Barrel comes through nicely.
