Now, THIS is a nice surprise. I wasn’t sure I wanted to have it because of the cherry aspect of it, but as it turns out it’s not really cherry-ish. Full roasty body with notes of smoke, leather, coffee & licorice in a quite dry flavour. Excellent.

Very easy drinking. Smokey, leathery and full of coffee, without being too much. It’s has certain sweet fruit notes (same way a coffee would have).

Mikkeller / Warpigs / Seven Island collab. Niet alle toevoegingen zijn my cup of tea, maar dat is meer de smaak dan de kwaliteit van dit brouwsel, want dat is erg fraai gedaan. Alle smaken komen namelijk knap tot uiting. 4+

Christ I hate wax caps,ouch 🗡 🤕! Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, raisin, sweet tobacco, dessicated coconut. Taste is boozy fruitcake, sweet tobacco, black cherries, cinammon, coffee. Sweet warming alcohol. Improves with every sip.

a tricky beer, for me too harsh on the spices/taste. I dont appreciate the carob or mahleb, seems more pretentious than thought-out as good tastes. aroma changes, a little coffee, almond. taste is too sweet and vibes a little of essences

Licorice root and tobacco. Cardamomish. Herbal. Earthy. Rather bitter and rough. Kamaz loads of coffee. Bready. Raisins.

Intense coffee and mahleb taste and cherry aroma. It feels that it contains more alcohol though and the addition of mahleb is more than it should, which brings some unbalancy. Very good though. 4,15!

Very interesting. At first I thought Tonka, but then the spices seem to change. Not sure what they are, but this is lovely. Dark spicy chocolate

Strong coffee, licorice, fisherman’s friends , cocoa and cardamom. Dry and bitter, long herbal aftertaste. I like the coffee part, but overall not my type of flavours. Good enough though.

Loving the nose, pungent dry cocoa with a subtil cherry sweetness. Taste has a prominent rostiness, dark chocolate bitterness, dry cinnamon and a touch of licorice with the cherries in the periphery . Good mouthfeel, densly carbonated.
