Mahleb and chocolate on the nose, full creamy body, strong tsoureki harob chocolate and coffee aftertaste.A real Greek breakfast on a stout!

Loving the nose, pungent dry cocoa with a subtil cherry sweetness. Taste has a prominent rostiness, dark chocolate bitterness, dry cinnamon and a touch of licorice with the cherries in the periphery . Good mouthfeel, densly carbonated.

Strong coffee, licorice, fisherman’s friends , cocoa and cardamom. Dry and bitter, long herbal aftertaste. I like the coffee part, but overall not my type of flavours. Good enough though.

Very interesting. At first I thought Tonka, but then the spices seem to change. Not sure what they are, but this is lovely. Dark spicy chocolate

Intense coffee and mahleb taste and cherry aroma. It feels that it contains more alcohol though and the addition of mahleb is more than it should, which brings some unbalancy. Very good though. 4,15!

Thick, black and strong, and with a peculiar and quite interesting liquorice/coffee taste that gets better with every mouthful.

Magus, šokolaad, röst, tonka, kohvi, nats alksi, tugev lagrits. Lõpus on tugev kõrbenud maitse. Hea. 4.1

Stonking bitterness (led by the coffee?) But it's the mahleb and carob that are the revelations. Mahleb bringing concentrated cherry, almond and spices (like tonka turned to 11). Carob akin to dusty, rich, heavy, nutty cocoa. Powerhouse of a flavour.

Big, ballsy, breakfast stout. Loads of depth & complexity to the malt bill. Cacao, liquorice, treacle, vanilla, hint of Xmas spice, or and coffee! Dark heavily roasted coffee.

4.49 actually. Wonderful coffee and the spices really put a special touch to it. But just a tad more refined it could have been. There is a slight sharpness. Get over it and it's easily a 4.50.

Lidt speciel smag af mahleb… minder lidt om en blanding af kanel og tonkabønner… tror også, at johannesbrødkernemelet giver lidt i den retning pga mundfylden. Sjov øl, men ikke helt så god som håbet.

Oy that is just wayyyy too much coffee, overshadowing everything else. If they were going for an alcoholic freddo espresso, they nailed it. But such a beverage doesn’t work for me.

All that cinnamon cinnamon all that coffee/cocoa flavor is giving me the espresso shot feeling with all that smoothness, almost feels like drinking silk straight from a cashmere cloth.
