Not so much a beer and more a port. Quite thick on the cherries, and thick in general. Tasty enough though.

Strong and boozy, but overpowered the cherries. Decided against more.#MikkellerShowcase

Strong cherry flavours come through. Slightly sour. Rich yet light

Super boozy, tart cherries, and a dry berry red wine flavour

Not a "sour" more a Belgian lambic style. The cherry in a black forest gateaux. Very good

Gorgeous dark stewed cherry flavour with barrel aged tannins giving it a wine like depth reminiscent of an aged Burgundy. Stunning.

Lacks a bit of depth. Cherries are tart and taste like the whole fruit. Nice malt character. Ok.

Like squeezed old cherries, with a slight sweetness, dank and slightly bitter aftertaste

Possibly the the most natural cherry flavour I've had in a beer. The bitterness is strong - like cherry pits, which I really, really love. Hard to believe that it's 12.9% and even harder to understand the average Untappd rating!!

On the right. Juicy cherry more sour than sweet. Long aftertaste.

Rich dark cherry beer. Dark molasses, gives this a very mellowing quality that relaxes and wants you to chill

After a bad reaction as a child I thought I was allergic to cherries for years. Turns out I wasn't and now it's one of my favourite things. This is like cherry brandy, wine and beer rolled into one. Boozy, fruity and absolutely lush. Love it.

Oooooh! The gloriously-astringent, cherry delightfulness of it all. It's definitely one of one's five a day, SURELY?! :-)

Well this is pretty special. Cherries dipped in chocolate injected with cherry liqueur. I will sleep well tonight...

12.9% ABV Bock - Dubbelbock. Plenty of sour cherry but doesn’t taste or feel like 12.9%. Disappointing.

Disappointing after the previous Mikkeller beers today. Cherries & Booziness but just not in balance somehow
