Wow! Balance between sweetnes and accidity is really something else here. Coffee, maple syrup, bitterness, almost reminds me of red wine in an tangy aftertaste. I mean.. come on.

I thought surely it can't be as bad as the reviews suggest. It's worse. I hope you like burnt black coffee with your burnt cinnamon stick for breakfast. There's the tiniest hint of sweetness. Something went wrong here.

Very unusual! Strong smell of prunes! It is roasted, and I'm talking not only about malt or oatmeals, everything is roasted! Maple, cinnamon and grains: some gives that strong burnt caramel taste. A bit sour and bitter. Choice for a hard palette, cheers!

Burned maple flavour is very strong. But it is balanced well by the sweetness. It is very much like a creamy pastry.

Nose is huge maple syrup and cinnamon. Taste starts sweet with a huge maple syrup but quickly turns to bitter cinnamon. Cannot taste anything else because the cinnamon is overpowering. Not terrible but I have had better mikkeller beer geek beers

Didn't mind this unlike a lot of ratings? Not their best but a bit of coffee taste with cinnamon undertone. Slight mAple syrup sweetness but not like their other pastry stouts, and the coffee/ choc malts give it a slight bitter finish.

Want my money back. Utter trash. Tastes like burnt crumbs blended with dates fished out of a turd. What were you guys thinking

Wow. Yeah... Maybe this is as bad as the average ratings say. I just saw mikkeller breakfast stout and grabbed.. cinnamon is good for about 1/8th of a second, everything else is absolutely over the top shart

Really does smell like a delicious waffle breakfast, but a bit too heavy on the cinnamon for me. Definitely not overly sweet.

A crazy low average rating on this one. I wouldn't be that harsh but its def quite different to other beer geek beers. Lotsa cinnamon and coffee but I don't mind too much!

So much spicy cinammon in the nose. The taste is just tonnes of cinammon and really quite unpleasant.

Karismatisk duft. Stærk aroma af sirup, med et hint af kanel. Blød og med lav kulsyre. Smag af kaffe med syrlig bitterhed.
