Galician Beer Taster - R. Riveiro
Aroma licoroso, con brandy y maltas tostadas. En boca, potente, no muy densa para el estilo, cálida, buen amargor con pino. Tabaco y toques a ceniza, toffee-cacao, especias ligeramente picantes,fruta madura. Final astringente, licoroso, con barrica.Copazo

Might be just that I had an old bottle but it comes across thin and extremely boozy with a slight caramel finish

5/12 Beers of Xmas! Malty aroma of stroopwafel. Decadent flavors of caramel-covered nuts, figs and raisins, nutmeg and cloves. Sweet finish, slight alcohol burn, hint of peppery spice from the yeast.

Boozy and dark with some vanilla. Now this is what makes me feel festive (even while living in a country with forever tropical weather.) A bit more lingering roastiness in the aftertaste would be nice, but this is still solid.

2014 vs 2015 tasting. Absolutely no noticeable difference. Some burnt sugar and licorice in nose and flavour. Boozy. Low carbonation, as expected.

Advent calendar beer #24… did my best, but Noel will have to wait until I can share it with a friend!! This is one I’ve had for a while. Saving it for something special, but luckily, it’s done well with time. Hopefully like me ;). Haha.

Øllet er på drikke tidspunktet ca. 10 år gammel, hvilket også er alderen på Godthåb Øllaug - Stort tillykke. Drukket den 291223. Skønne og krydrede smagsnoter af malt, karamel, nødder, tørret frugt, brun sukker og lette lakridsnoter i eftersmagen. LoveIT
