Complete disappointment. This beer is usually phenomenal. This iteration is completely flat. No sign of carbonation. Tastes like a cherry wine. Delicious, but definitely not what was intended or expected.

This is a very fruit-forward beer. Super mellow and very sharply different than other spontans. The sour does not come forward as much. Worth a taste. Not worth the price tag, unless you scored it at $2.99 like this bro.

Exploded in my face like a facial at the Hungarian beer bar in Budapest. Drenched and desirous to shove it down my throat. I still drank it with Frank. He wasn't mad at it.

As an American Marzen, this is perfectly acceptable. It is a far cry from the classics like Weihenstephaner or Ayinger, but solid, especially for the price point.
