Dark and intensely sweet with mixed flavor of dark chocolate, soy sauce, and hop resins. Pours the deepest black with a small ring of dark brown head. Alcohol legs are prevalent, but the burn is minimal for a 13% beer. Nice thick mouthfeel.

Date on cap is Sep 19, but don’t know if that means beer is 3 years old or 3 years past BB date. Wasn’t as good as expected. Maybe that’s the reason.

Brutal esta birra, que tenía guardada desde ni se sabe. Petrolako belga con 12.7%. Copos de avena, muy densa. Azúcar, miel, café y vainilla. Un lujo.

If an old leather shoe and a sweat sock met a beer this is what this would be. Aged in Islay Scotch barrels malty, peaty, don't get much coffee honey or anything else.

Hci 26.4.16. Black ☕ and 🍫 abound, with raisins, treacle and liquorice and with winey nuances. Spicy and boozy aftertaste. #locale

(2016) Aromat czekoladowy, miodowy, truflowy i kawowy, w tle wanilia, likier. W smaku dość słodko, cukrowo + sporo paloności i alkoholu. W posmakach kwasowość od ciemnych słodów, tytoń i miód. Goryczka średnia, popiołowa, szorstka, dość nieprzyjemna. 3.6

Been sitting on this one for three years, never found it anywhere but Peabody’s. Big, strong, retains some hoppiness. Really good

Cellared 7–10 years (I lost track). Still had a ton of coffee and hops pounding the pallet. Don’t know what it was like fresh, but it must have been mind bending.
