I'm still unsure about this one. I got a coffee flavor on the first sip, but it's pretty tasty. Very dark and rich.

Big malt sweetness, 15 + yrs old. Some “play-doh” oxidation. Which is standard for old Barleywines. 12% American version but English is 18.5%!!

The plan was to share this drink the last night in Copenhagen with Efa. But as she’s not feeling well I’m drinking this bigger bottle american style barley wine on my own. The barley wine is strong, boozy and with rich sweet malts.

Barrel aging and aging beers class. Veel rode wijn, met wat kers en grappa smaken.
