Sugary nose. Caramel, coffee, syrup, vanilla and chocolate. Full body. ABV warms in the end. Sweet.

BA is quite overpowering, as always. Can’t complain too much though as this was the only heavy stout in Mikkeller’s calendar.

Midnight black w/ scant foam. Oaky and sweet aroma. Big bold and boozy. Candied fruits almost maple syrup sweetness overwhelms subtler chocolate, coffee and cask flavors. Tastes better as warms w/ water chaser.

Dark and sweet but only slightly sweet. This beer is medium thickness but definitely a Porter taste with vanilla for the warm weathered Southerners. This beer is for a true brother of the Nights Watch
