O w mordeczkę. Nie spodziewałem się, że to ma ponad 16%. Kopie jak muł. Gęste, gorzko kawowe, palone.

From my beer scrapbook in 17/02/2012. Back then it was 16.5%. I said that the first sip was bitter chocolate and coffee but with a smooth syrupy texture. A long lingering bitter aftertaste.

5+ years over bbe 😳 But at 17.5% abv. I've no worries of it having turned bad... Extremely boozy, vinous, extremely sharp espresso-ish roast. Almost a bit astringent. Port & sherry flavours buried somewhere inside all of that, still some sweetness left.

Smells great! Loads of booze (SURPRISE!) and a lovely sweet raisin flavour wrestling with some liquorice. So far, so good - but then it gets bitter. Too bitter in the aftertaste for me. Keep drinking to avoid the aftertaste? Great plan…

Iedere keer weer blijkt dit toch echt een subliem bier te zien.

Not sure if I like or dislike this. It’s rich, full-bodied and boozy which i like BUT it’s also extremely sweeeeet in the beginning and finishes with black coffee roasty bitterness. Gotta nurse this 18%… 3.85

Vintage 2019. Suprisingly sweet and hoppy. Quite different beer than 10+ years ago.

Kun kerta hanasta löytyy niin ehkä tässä yhden bingoillan kestää kaupanpäällisenä. Myyttinen tuote!

Ret sød i det, let ift de 15% alkohol. Synes den mangler lidt kraft og fedme.

From the way back of the fridge. Mocha and dried fruit nose without much booze. Still pretty rich choc-mocha flavour, low level smoky ash, dry with slight astringent palate sensation. Medium-low mouthfeel, pretty balanced overall

Näin yhden desin annoksenakin aika raju. Varsin makea, pieni nokisuus tasapainoittaa mukavasti

Makea ja hyvin voimakkaasti humaloitu. Kivasti lämmittävä ja viinainen(sillai oikealla tavalla)

#beer&books! Aged this in my "cellar" for quite long. Finished with dark cassonade sugar and champagne yeast. Wonderful stout aroma, but just too sweet for me. Wife seems to love though 🤷🏻♂️ cheers 🤟
