Strong, but not overly boozy. Sweet without being sticky. Spicy, going towards fruity. Very good.

Deze rakker blijft bijzonder smakelijk. Lekker zoet maar toch vol. De champagne gist maakt de zoetigheid ook weer wat fris en met 15.4% ook een geote jongen om weg te drinken. Op de koop toe een fles van 375 ml. Uitmuntend.

Hirveän makea, hirveän viinainen. On tässä jotain hyvääkin, mutta koko tyylilaji on mulle liian vaikea. Viinit erikseen. Enkä niistäkään mitään ymmärrä. En arvostele. Varmaan jonkun hipsterin olutfanaatikon mielestä vitun hyä, minusta ei.

Massive loads of caramel, toffee, creme brulee, and vanilla. Very rich and quite tasty. No way I could drink more than 6 oz of this guy though. Super decadent.

Huge 15% barleywine. Pours gold with a foamy white head that leaves ample lacing. Sweet pale malt, honey, lemon drops, white grape ice wine, juicy white raisin, golden brown sugar, orchard fruits, and faint herbal/spicy/floral notes. Syrupy mouthfeel.

Lighter in colour than expected and does not taste 15%. This is one of the best balanced barelywines I have had. Medium sweetness with nice carbonation.
