Unfortunately swerved into left field on this one. Mixing the broad range of beverages, this was not the direction to finish. I'm sure it would be better to start the day with.

Œil : noir, col épais. Nez : Cocoa, chocolat, douceur. Bouche : sèche, cacao, chocolat, avoine, café, bourbon ultra subtil.

Soft apple-y whiskey with light peat notes on top op the chocolatey roasted malts and some slight coffee. Thin and the original beer is subdued

Backlog | 23/06/21 | BottleSharing with Magnus. No BB•info on the label, so an unknown vintage. Not undrinkable, but no bourbon present. The bottle went out and we didn’t pay for it. Roasted, tobacco notes, moldy. Brewed at Lervig. No rating

Ristet noter. Slutter med en rimelig bitter smag. Intet bourbon og slet ingen smag af barrel age. Meget tynd og tør. Nærmere en dry stout. Yderst skuffende opblevelse.

Roasted coffee nose with a slightly tart note. Roasted coffee beans base opening and yet no sign of any bourbon barrel aging! Overly carbonated confuses me. Somewhat thin, but that’s expected in a 7.5. Big disappointment! Plain Beer Geek Breakfast.

Anno 2014. Roasty coffee grounds in nose. Taste is empty apart from being roasty and a bit bitter. Bourbon is altogether lost. Texture is oily, yet thin.
