Superb ale. Not too sweet and brings the booze. Real easy to kill a 4 pack. I hope this never goes away.

Wow. Desert/pastry ale to the extreme, all in a good way. nothing tastes artificial, sweet but not overly sweet. balanced. Wanted to not like it, but it works for me.

From Saturday. This was great—delicious french toast with none of the burnt flavor that everyone else was getting IMO. Thanks Josh C.

You can definitely taste the bourbon barrel! Yes it is strong. Had to eat with it.

"Smells like sweetness" the wife says as she winces. Comes on fairly strong with a syrup flavor...I can get the French toast moniker. Ends up with a bitter that's a bit too much and lingers a bit too long. It's good.

Sweet maple syrup and cinnamon nose. Not overly sweet, but a full flavor, well balanced breakfast! 11.1%

It really does taste like french toast. It smells like it too! Great winter beer. I wish I was enjoying this in Vermont. That was the first place I had a founders barrel aged beer.
