Not generally huge on scotch ales, but no way I was walking past this when I saw it. Barrel aged with maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla. Yeah, a lot of flavor! Nailed the French toast aspect here. Bourbon kicks it all up a notch. Excellent!

11.1% BBA Scotch Ale Founders took a Wee Heavy and drowned it in Maple Syrup with some Vanilla and Cinnamon. I can hardly taste the Scotch Ale much less the Bourbon or ABV. Mostly I get Maple. So sweet you might have to check your blood sugar!

Great tasting beer. A little sweet. Strong at 11%. Reminds me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Try it, you'll like it.

Tasty, sweet and sticky. Heavy on the maple flavor, it really is like bottled French toast. Except it’s more fun than, at 11.1% ABV.
