Only reason I like it is the aftertaste. Would never know it’s a beer and not a delicious breakfast cooked by Grandma. But it’s 11.1% so it’s not to Grandmas liking

Maple nose and cinnamon and vanilla on the tongue in a favorite style - Scotch ale/wee heavy. And barrel-aged!

Maple sweet goodness. The aroma is even pure french toast. Aftertaste is fairly bitter and strong but the rest is solid.

Flavor-wise it's delicious but SO freaking sweet it's almost undrinkable. Would be great in a cold brew coffee or as a syrup on waffles 😂

Full of flavor, nice bitter after taste but amazing maple flavor.

A little too sweet for me. Takes away from the whiskey barrel stout.

I expected an extremely sweet beer soon rather enjoyed splitting a bottle. Not sure I’d want to drink a whole bottle but tasty!

Can a beer be to sweet. This might be the closest to syrup a beer has been. Really sweet and really strong.

I debated going all the way to a 5. So insanely good. Thanks to some friendly gifters I've got a few more to continue the internal debate with. That brings me up to the here and now minus the Christmas share which I was happy to enjoy without rating.

Crazy how much this tastes like cinnamon french toast. Not sure how it could be considered a scotch ale at this point but whatever, it's delicious if not a little unrefined and leaving depth and sophistication.
