Pours a deep black thick one with some brown foaming that shrinks fast. Oaky woody nose with some sweet notes of maple and malts. Generously carbonated ouzy boozy one with strong sweet barrel aged chocolate maple and dried fruits

Just a great full rich brew, 2year old and the ABV virtually disappeared.... mmmm!

3rd bottle. 2019. Omg 😳🤯🤯 EVEN better. Sweet maple 🍁 syrup, rich milk chocolate 🍫 & bourbon 🥃 barrel nose. Intense caramelized maple syrup, Calder Dairy chocolate milk & bourbon whiskey flavors. Amazing at 55F. As it warms, it’s boozy & 💯🙌🏼🙌🏼😝

Sweet, barrel-aged flavors, with bourbon prominent, followed by drier flavors of chocolate and coffee. It’s not overly sweet, and thankfully not overly barrel-aged, so it’s still relatively drinkable.
