Raiding the cellar to get rid of old stuff. The picture doesn't show it but quite a bit of carbonation upon opening. A TON of raisin and dark fruit. Minty. Time has unfortunately not done this beer many favors. Otherwise, this is a 4.5+/5 beer normally.

Has held up very well although the alcohol is muted and the maple is more subtle…coffee bean notes on the nose and big bourbany milk chocolate on the palate…really nice..

Nog steeds heerlijk, maple smaakt minder door. De chocolade komt meer naar voor, nog voldoende bourbon aanwezig

Probably my tolerance is down but the alcohol seemed hotter than what i remember. Good that it didn’t have the acidity of the last bottle. Still has good flavors of dark chocolate, mineral, and vanilla smoothed out by barrel aging.
