Just shy of 3 years in my fridge (bottled 9/2019). The rich, sweet, maple & chocolate is more in the background. Boozy, astringent notes are more pronounced. But still good, eh?

Dark and rich with plenty of sweet syrup balanced by bitter dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans. The barrel is noticeable as well.

Great to sip on while Bret's doing his work meeting and waiting to eventually board our flight. Just found out/realized today, Founders last production of CBS was 2019.

One down, 12 to go for Randy’s stash. Actually still holding up well. Maple has faded but otherwise good.

A massive boozy imperial stout with notes of bourbon, chocolate, roasted coffee and maple syrup. CnB pulled this out of production keg from the cellar and it’s here to enjoy while it lasts!

Headed to the cellar. The 2019 CBS still holds a coffee flavor. The maple sweetness has held up nicely too. Chocolate note comes on slowly as it warms. Hardly any barrel flavor. Still an awesome beer!

Nogmeet oude meuk... maar wat voor Meuk... Heerlijke koffie geur, maar gedoseerd in de smaak. Prima. Had iets dikker gemogen.. maar hij is fijn... zeker met dit gezelschap en de omgeving
