BA Day 8. A little giveaway by the cap but I'm not complaining. Great beer for anytime, not just breakfast.

4.4 ⭐ Poured black in color with darker beige head reaching around two fingers. Was airy, fluffy and left loads of stuff on the sides. Bourbon lovely on the palate, maple syryp, chocolate and roasted coffee and even some vanilla in there too.

A perfect pairing, a Sunday stout with December NFL football. Thanks to Dr. O for giving this to me to try. A unique blend of maple syrup, chocolate and coffee. A perfect Sunday afternoon beer.

Maple and Bourbon barrels are tricky by themselves but Founders has blended it perfectly with the chocolate to compliment each other. A drink like this makes parenting on a Sunday afternoon infinitely easier........
