Deliciously impressive barrel aged stout. Hints of maple and vanilla. A slight oak flavor. Love it

Aged pretty well. Maple is still prominent. Not boozy as some get over time.

Rich chocolate and maple balance nicely with the roasty coffee on the backside. A couple years has smoothed this out nicely, although it remains a little light on the bourbon barrel vibez. Dig the body...and at "just" 11%!

Yes this is a current check in. It has coffee in it and it is a breakfast stout. WFH day. Found this in my aging box. Boozy, chocolate, smooth, bitter. Some maple, barrel, and backend coffee. Still a fantastic beer some 2 years later. Thanks Eric S.

Well on the 2nd day of Stoutmas I am checking in a beer that apparently never had. This finally aged beaut comes in nicely with dark chocolate mocha masterpiece. Thanks Yetibeerreview for another great recommendation!

No lactose or crazy adjuncts, just nice and simple. Almost a perfect stout. Wish I had stumbled on more than one bottle.

On the 2nd day of Stoutmas, We have 2019 CBS. Pitch black in glass, mocha head. Getting chocolate, barrel, roast and a sweetness on nose. Coffee has tamed, chocolate, bourbon barrel, roast and a light maple sweetness. Maple tamed as well. GR8 sipper!

The ultimate boutique beer effort that actually paid off! Big IS backbone layered on top of sweet and spiced maple/cask notes that donāt push the envelope.

4.9. IMHO there are very few select BA stouts out there better for whatever reason.

On some days, you just need the highest quality, most potent āmedicineā possible and this combo delivers! Chocolate, coffee, maple and smoooooooth with it! Combined with some Adele & I am in heaven. Thanks so very much Been R. for the incredible share!
