The maple, wheatwine, and bourbon barrel are all pretty sweet. However, it works really well. Better than I expected.

Sweet maple gives caramelized marzipan with sweet cherries into a creamy smooth vanilla, wheat malt, shaved coconut and boozy bourbon finalè. Gone!

12oz bottle - 2022. This was good back in 2013 (before I joined UT), and didn’t disappoint now. Maple-sweetened bourbon taste added good dimension to the base Wheatwine, which made itself known on the middle to finish.

There might be beer in there somewhere, but mostly it tastes like syrup that's been aged in bourbon barrels. Don't get me wrong-- I like it. I'm just not sure why this couldn't be another imp stout instead of a wheatwine.

It is malty and bready in the flavor with noticeable maple flavors. There are also some background honey notes with caramel and a little bit of candy like sweetness. There is also a cherry element to it as it warms up a bit.

Complex malty, sweet, boozy combination. Strong-ish and would pair well with with rib tips.

Pretty good but not as full flavored as Pilgrim's Dole. Wheat wines are not common so this is a good effort. Cheers!

I only drank half of the 12 oz. bottle the other night, so I'm finishing it and checking in the other half. I like it more tonight.

Had this last night but didn’t check it in. Pic on the left is hotel art from last night. Pic on the right is one of 2 semi pile ups on I-70 today. Today was the most stressful day of driving in my life. 7 hours on snow packed roads. It sucked. Cheers 🍻

Boozy, sweet, and it almost finishes with a hint of butter? Even if it isn't supposed to have that, it has those notes combined with a similar mouthfeel.
