Has a bit of licorice taste. Good, but not my thing

Nice flavor and upfront sweetness but an odd bitterness at the end that lingers a bit too long

I scored this a 5 the first time and I am sticking with it.

Another day, another BA founders offering that tastes downright medicinal… glad I’m sticking to the single bottles here. These adjuncts are tier 3 for sure…

I know, a wheat ale. And at that, I like it. Who knew.

Nice beer. To me it kind of tastes like a wheat beer with some Congac added. A little potent.

P: Thins quickly to a sm head. S: Sweet aroma w/subtle burnt oak/maple notes. T:Bourbon bbl taste, and fleeting hints of maple, plants this drink on my “keep-in-stock” list. Can be used to transition hearty souls from weak “beers,” to manly stouts.

Mellow sweet fruit nougat aroma & golden color. Well blended malty nutty vanilla whisky flavors that build as you go. Beautiful blend. Wow! #BHBABF2023

Not bad! A little sweet for my taste, but I knew that going in. Really nice sipper.

Interesting... I don't know how to feel about this one. I may have to have multiple to get an understanding.

Maple is very subtle flavor, brings a bit of smoothness. Buy again.

Holy moly. One of Founders best. Not to be had often but what a great treat to have at the end of a great weekend.

#38. Impressive. The hops do add a nice floral note, but I feel like it does take away from the traditional caramel and butterscotch flavors that are usually at the forefront of a wheatwine. I do get maple, oak tannins and hint of bourbon as it warms.

First time ever trying this one. It pours a dark tan color with aromas of caramel and sweet notes. The mouthfeel is on the light end of medium with flavors of caramel malt notes up front with some wheat notes throughout. As it warms, the maple comes in.

Maple and oak on the nose, sweet maple and syrupy wheat malt, boozy, pretty bitter on the back end, dry finish

Lives up to its name. Bubble gum, basil, a hint of booze on the tail.
