Bourbon barrel-aged wheat wine with maple syrup. Very sweet, bordering on cloying, but tasty and nuanced, hides its 12.8% well.

Never had the OG, but this beer rocks. Sweetness, almost floral/berry, some oak barrel. Their BA series is doing great things again

light and more bare bones. a good but strong (abv) refresher from the hardy winter stouts. a 4.125 for me

Clean and crisp with a light maple finish. This is a beautiful wheat wine.

Bourbony nose. Reminiscent of backwoods bastard. Sweet, bourbon, slight bitterness. Very good.

Zesty citrus bitterness up front followed by boozy vanilla figs raisins moderate bourbon rich maple syrup oak barrel flavors. Well crafted brew with a great balance of flavors. Unusual excellent brew A interesting combination of flavors well worth a try

This is VERY VERY different and complex! Sweet mouthfeel, malty, boozy, citrus & Bourbon notes, UNIQUE!

very sweet and malty. starts smooth with the wheat, then the malt and maple kick in. ends with a good bourbon and oak finish that is very boozy.

Really sweet. Never had a wheat wine, so nothing to compare to. Delicate, softer old ale flavor with a big maple hit and bourbon undertones. Definitely pleasant. Would buy again if available next year.

A little bit metallic, but a nice balanced sweetness of caramel and vanilla.

Different. Sweet. You get the barleywine aroma. Easy drinking and kind of refreshing.

Don't hate it, but think I would like it better w/out maple. Has a butterscotch citrusy hoppy flavor overall. I don't get bourbon, but Bourbon normally adds vanilla, & I think that, combined with the maple & wheat wine flavors it results in butterscotch.
