Wow really nice bourbon and maple sweetness comes through. The old ale is mellowed to a good means to transport this nice barrel aging and still have some backbone.

Old Ale uit whiskeyvaten waar ook maple syrup in heeft gelegen. En dat is me daar toch iets moois geworden! Zachter dan een barleywine, veel vanille, kokos-achtig, hele zachte whiskey. Blijven toppers, die van Founders

Boozy, vanilla nose. Rich, caramel roasted malt. Boozy, barrel flavor. Smooth. Caramel, vanilla, light maple finish. Great BA old ale. 8.14.18 bottle

Can definitely smell a little syrup. Definite maple syrup any with the bourbon. Sweet and boozy with the syrup taste lingering a bit.

A very smooth ale aged in bourbon barrels with maple and molasses notes. Just enough sweetness to balance all out nicely. Mouth coating and gets better with every sip...cheers! Thanks Chris M.!

Definitely worth the wait. Boozy bourbon has mellowed nicely. Scotch ale like caramel sweetness. ABV 12.7% and a slow sipper. Very enjoyable.

Aromas of alcohol, toffee caramel, brown sugar, bread, malts, dried fruits and vanilla from oak barrels. Flavors of maple syrup, caramel, vanilla, raisins, alcohol and some whiskey. Boozy and bittersweet aftertaste. Very full body with a rich head.
