Nice barrel. I don’t quite get the coffee per se but get the bitterness in contrast to the up-front sweetness. Net, I concur with OP W.

Awesome brown. Great example of Barrel aging. Coffee, chocolate, bourbon balanced bomb. One of the better BA browns I have had. Thank U DD!

WOW This beer is so good. Absolutely the best Brown Ale I’ve ever had. Simply delicious it is. Made my way to Cave City, KY today. Work here 2 days then head to Nacodoches, TX on Thursday. Cheers 🍻

Coffee and boozy nose. Just a hint of sweetness on a coffee-boozy start. Smooth full-bodied boozy middle with a nice malty finish. Mmmm great

Deep espresso coffee aroma and taste, with some dried figs and prunes and bourbon booziness as it warms. Less body than expected, feels a little lightweight because of that.

Got the last glass from the keg really overwhelming coffee and unsweetened chocolate flavors still very good though

I think I’m in love. This has a slight sweetness up front and a faint coffee finish. So so good.
