Underground Mountain Brown

Brown Ale - Imperial / Double

Underground Mountain Brown is the harmonious drinking experience only achieved when our imperial brown ale, earthy sumatra coffee and a year aging in caves below Grand Rapids comes together. A team of malts complement the bold sumatra coffee perfectly, while time spent immersed in oak creates layers of depth and complexity. A celebration of the barrel, the bean and everything in between.

Quite an effervescence on this one: strong coffee and boozy bourbon. The flavor is just as bold. Blurs the line between a mild bourbon and a potent beer. A great (tasty) brew for bringing home for Thanksgiving to help deal with the family.

Racist pieces of human dog shit! I can't believe my wife once went on a date with one of their sales reps.

Sometimes you get a gift from someone, your totally clueless what it is but you know it’s going to be good. That’s how it is w/a Founders beer. This ale is everything you wanted in a stout - and less. If you find stouts a bit heavy, I reco this brown ale

wasn't as rich as I had hoped, but nice flavors of coffee and oak. Would've liked a more warmth and depth from the bourbon

I appreciate the barrel aging but boozy beers just aren’t at the top of my list. Sipping slow, one is enough.

Coffee is strongest flavor with mild chocolate and oak. Not your typical brown.

De smaak is mooier dan de moersleutel, maar de afdronk is veel korter.
