Served at room temp. Mak'in that old bastard work. Sweetness abated slightly. Crusty roasted caramel. Raisin, vanilla - slight booze tingle. . Dry finish. Drinking better than fresh!

Late check-in. Guarda tirou corpo, trouxe bastante percepção de frutas vermelhas frescas e deixou o fim bem seco. Textura permanece macia e manteve-se o equilíbrio amadeirado. Cocada mole/Maria maluca. Valeu o teste!

Still a little better than a 4.25, but 2019 was definitely my favorite of the day.

Bourbon! Bourbon komt lichtjes terug, mooie smaak van karamel. Rozijnen en rood fruit op de achtergrond. Als die dikker was, dan echt Wow. Licht scherp in de afdronk.

Held up markedly better than the 2016. Nose not as dense. Bit of a different profile here from the 2016.

Bottled July 20th, 2018. Been sitting on for 4 years. Smoothed out nicely. So good had another.

Cellared 5 years and 1 month. Almost don’t even care how it tastes after this perfect pour. Oh how I miss what Founders was… post pour edit: it’s fine. Great for how old of an ale this is. Definitely should have cleaned out the fridge sooner.

Really nice! Smooth and mellow. A little boozy, notes of vanilla and caramel, seems to have lost the sweetness as its been aging for 5 years.
