Doft av kaffe, tobak, rostad malt och mörk choklad, samt fatlagring. Fyllig munkänsla. Smak av choklad och kaffe. Något torr och bitter eftersmak med med inslag av choklad och fatlagring.

Quite mellow now, with an essence of bourbon over mocha flavors and a touch of booze at the end. Happy Easter!

Held up very nicely in the cellar!! Bourbon and alcohol both mellow a bit with more coffee and chocolate notes than then younger version

A friend shared this with me last night. Delicious, smooth around the edges, and drinks lower than the listed ABV now. Feels like it is only 8%.

Moving down the line, the ‘18 is carrying its adjuncts a bit more effectively than the ‘17, even as it initially lacked balance. This is still carrying a ton of chocolate, but the body is noticeably thinner and the coffee is all but gone now.

Something must have gone wrong in aging, lost a lot of flavor (tho alcohol was also barely noticeable).

Stadig en lækker øl, men ikke helt på højde med årgang 2016. Har godt af noget tid i glasset.

Dejlig øl, men samtidig også en skuffelse ift 2016 versionen. Har ikke samme fylde, og virker heller ikke lige så rundt og blød som den tidligere udgave.

Nya från bolaget är tydligen 2018 😂 smaken är det Inge fel på dock, fantastiskt välbalanserad med kaffe, choklad o grym munkänsla.

Thickened up on the front end, alcohol is a lot more present, less milky sweetness but still super well put together. Bourbon-y and rich chocolate

From the vault, aged about 3 years. Sweet, chocolaty, and wicked smokey following a huge nose. A Founders staple that gets better with age. No clue where we got it, but I’m glad it’s here.

I’m not sure I was supposed to drink this. It was in the beer fridge and might have been given to my son for his 21st birthday. Oh well, he should have taken it with him when he returned to school. It’s pretty awesome! Nice chocolate and coffee notes.
