Really thin, borderline watery, no barrel. Not how I remember this beer at all.

Looking at my previous checkin, I think I was right. 3.5 years he done this well. The coffee is not overpowering anymore, much more balanced.

I don’t make a habit of checking in a beer multiple times, but this beer has aged beautifully. I’m always shocked how smooth these big stouts become with cellaring. The years have been kind.

Glad I aged this. It’s perfect. You can taste all the flavors. Bacon and Chocolate. Bourbon flavor with no burn. Not boozy at all. Glad I have two more.

18-3-5, 3yr, 8mo o. Bitter coffee and cocoa. Smooth. Notes of oaky vanilla and hints of fiery molasses. Mellowing nicely.

Aged beautifully. Smoothed it out even more and brought out more chocolate.

Sjokolade fudge, brownies og bourbon. Slick, spicy, umami og noe fruktig kaffe. Nær perfeksjon.

Unique #3800. This has aged extremely well. Silky smooth chocolate, bourbon, cocoa, vanilla, fudge. Lovely warming finish but not overpowering. Fantastic.

So Melissa and I are drinking only 2018 beers tonight. First was Central Waters which was delicious. This KBS smells like coffee, tastes like coffee, and Melissa says it’s dark chocolate coffee with a little bourbon.

Börjar bli lite tunn efter några år i skåpet, grundsmaken sitter men all choklad och kaffe är dämpad, alkoholen är nog bevarad dock för surrig blev man ju direkt 😅 gött ändå!

3.5 years of aging. The booziness is fading, giving way to more pronounced chocolate and coffee notes. The hoarder in me wants to keep these forever but ya gotta drink ‘em sooner or later.

2018 KBS.. heerlijke koffie als ontbijt na 4 nachtdiensten.. boozy, vol, romig en een heerlijke donkere smaak van koffie en chocolade! Topper!

Pretty well rounded, though it does still have a bit of a bitter bite at the end.

This one did not age gracefully. Low barrel, faded yet still pretty strong coffee.

Aged 3 years, bourbon was gone, vanilla flavor from the barrel remained, an almost raisin sweetness; some roasty malt, dark chocolate, coffee, was present as it warmed
