Opened 12/16/2023: Held up pretty well, flavors mellowed a bit. Very malty and strong oak flavor remain.

Knap 5 år i ølkælderen, men stadig fin karbonering. Lidt sprittet, hvilket står godt til lakridsen, dernæst chokolade og (lidt for meget) kaffe. Jeg tror ikke den har ændret sig så meget, nok snarere mig der i mellemtiden har smagt en masse andet også…

👃Кофе 👅сладости 0, средняя плотность, кофе, горло обжигает будто выпил бурбона, а не пиво. Приятно. Но ожидани были намного больше.

Much less carbonation than when fresh. I think the chocolate has come to the fore and the coffee is diminished to its dry, roasty bitter character. Smooth vanilla-y oaky bourbon comes out towards the back. Thx again for these, Jay

Love having the og from a year when I would chase down the distribution truck on release day to try and get some! This has held up nicely with dark chocolate and coffee aromas and flavors dominating…a touch of vanilla and smooth bitter notes finish
