I'm wrestling this beer (good bones but too much coffee) while simultaneously wrestling with my wife's strange fascination with Dawson's Creek (badly filmed, badly mixed, plot holes aplenty). Should've picked one challenge at a time. Shame, really.

The coffee notes are very strong with this one. Definitely not the balance that the Mackinac has, but a solid variant nonetheless

Very smooth at 12%. Not even close to too much coffee. Well balanced.

Heavy and barrel aged. Earns a VG on NBT. Enough coffee in here to probably keep me awake tonight.

They took KBS, turned down the bourbon a notch and added more coffee in it’s place. I like both versions, but this one wins for me.
