Can definitely taste the espresso. Maybe slightly more chocolate and more bitter than the regular version; outstanding.

BBA stout with minor chocolate notes dominated by coffee (expresso) flavor. A bit boozy, but not bitter. Snow may be melting, but I'm looking forward to an enjoyable evening sipping this one.

Not sure on the merits of starting one's day with an espresso stout but it's definitely a fine way to end one! Snappy coffee oomph from the consistently satisfying Founders. (Also, I can't seem to take a picture near a campfire to save my life 🤪)

Very strong flavor on first sip followed by subtle hints of chocolate afterwards.

Coffee on the tongue with a whiskey mouthfeel. Very clean finish with a very hidden booze factor.

Super intense with the coffee. Not boozy but full of flavor. Think I may prefer the non-espresso version, though. Coffee almost overwhelms the delicious stout underneath.
