The coffee explosion I expected... Matt & Donnie, don't bother, but if you like a Jolt of Joe, this'll do it. Fat with flavor, thin on body... Like many old favorites, KBS doesn't hold up to today's best Stouts, but certainly going to finish this pour.

Another awesome variant of the outstanding KBS. Been really low on coffee stouts but man this thing is the bomb. The coffee flavor blends really well with the booziness of this beer. KBS super smooth mouthfeel but also rich and perfectly filling.

YUM! Malty sweet like a barrel aged stout tends to be, with a solid coffee flavor throughout out. Sweetness and bitterness is well balanced.

The extra espresso is a nice touch even when a bit more fresh like this one. Barrel notes come thru later maybe due to additional aging time or flavor.
