I had this last night (I forgot to check it in) and am having 2019 tonight. KBS is one of a handful of beers (including BCBS, Deth's Tar, and Parabola) that I have had every year for nearly a decade. 2020 was my least favorite vintage, though still solid.

Beetje vlak. Je proeft duidelijk de koffie en chocolade maar de barrels zitten te veel op de achtergrond. Jammer maar nog steeds best lekker. Had alleen meer verwacht

Mogen, smooth, krämig, kakao, kaffe. Smeker både gom och hals mjukt och fint

Zware koffie/mokka en fondant. Ietsje maple zou voor mij de punten naar een nieuwe hoogte duwen 😉

The 2020 seems a little more drinkable to me. Less boozy flavour (whether or not that’s possible). Bourbon is smooth and flavorful.

Mycket kakao, lite sträv. Stor munkänsla, lite ekfat. Kunde kanske lagrats lite till så den blev mjukare.

Dropped off substantially with nose of coffee but minimal taste and bourbon is gone.

Last but not least: an awesome BA coffee stout. Great bitterness, chocolate and bourbon notes and most definitely: coffee ☕️👍🏼

Bf 211221. Kaffe, mörk choklad, trä och bourbon. Lätt spritighet men inte så det stör. Fortfarande mycket god även om magin har avtagit.
