6 yr vertical. Less dark fruit but still sweet. More baking spice and coffee notes. Similar to the 2019 but this one seems more balanced.

I can start to pick out the individual flavors, chocolate, coffee, bourbon, and maybe a hint of stout. Aggressive, temperamental, polyphonous, much like life.

The spirit is nearly 2 years old and still tastes magnificent. Chocolate and coffee dominate

I typically ❤️ this beer, but while this one has the 🍫+☕️ flavors, it’s a little thinner than usual, bitter and still a touch hot. Give it another year…or two, maybe it will improve?? 🤷🏻♂️

Coffee, charred chocolate, and barrel that lingers at the end. The OG and best.

Side by side with WE single barrel this won out. It’s also been hanging out in my fridge for 2 years.

Sadly thin and boozy. Drinks like an Irish coffee almost. The other year pours are better though
