Bottled 5/8/20. It’s nice to revisit an old fav. Nice amount of oaky bourbon notes. Slight warming finish.

Mild milk chocolate with a bit of a scotch aftertaste. Almost creamy. No bite at all, the 11% ABV is a surprise.

Scotchy-Scotch you bastard! Mmm! Yum! Probably one of the best bourbon barrel aged beers in my opinion. Smoky, nutty, oaky, and sweet.. so F’ing backwoods.

Freshly bottled a couple weeks ago and tasting great as always. This has become a go-to beer for me. It’s constantly great, full barrel, oak, caramel and sugar flavors. Also reasonably priced. When I want an evening bourbon barrel sipper, this does it.

I love this beer. Founders has had its issues for sure but this is my favorite beer they do. Caramel, smooth, delicious.
