That’s more like it, thicker and more flavour, slightly sweet taste, coffee coconut and vanilla tones with bourbon kick….nice

Another awesome beer! Oaky, smoky, dark roasted bittersweet coffee up front. Hints of sweetness from the barrel? caramel going down with a wicked bitter coffee finish. Been sitting since August 2020, seems to have smoothed, mellow boozy ness!!

Bourbon barrel aged. Da's natuurlijk altijd goed. Ruikt niet zo sterk maar pakt je meteen zodra je drinkt. Ook koffie. Weer een topper van Founders. Geweldig bij een lekker vuurtje, waarschijnlijk laatste van deze zomer.

Het leven is vreselijk; zit ik hier in de zon, geen verplichtingen alleen opgescheept met dit bier. Vreselijk goed bedoel ik dus. Heerlijk bier wat ik al eerder had. Koffie, bourbon en caramel. Niet te zoet en met een prima koolzuur. Vreselijk 😎😋

Forgot I had this during lockdown 2020 - luckily that was the 2019 vintage so this is still unique. Wow. Heaps of bitter coffee and an illusion (?) of sweet chocolate. The barrel adds complexity and a timely reminder that it’s very boozy. What a treat.
