Deliciously rich and sweet - chocolate, maple, a bit of coffee - full and a bit boozy - hints of the bourbon barrel - KBS but maybe better.

Poured hard resulting in rich, creamy head with lots of lacing. Creamy mouthfeel and wonderful notes of fudge and vanilla. Sweeter than regular KBS and very easy drinking for the abv. Perfect for an after-dinner beer. Delicious!

Mapley and coffee-y. Somehow, it’s almost a bit too sweet. I don’t know how that’s working.

Smells like fudge cake. Tastes very caky, on a bitter/coffee side. Extremely pleasant to drink.

Not as thick as would have expected but the maple syrup comes thru in a good way. Make sure it stays chilled. Warmed up a little it looses that edge.

Deep dark chocolatey. Little bit of maple syrup too. It’s rich and hella heavy. Takes a while to drink but the extra percent keeps you content. Big fan of the sweet aftertaste. If you see it, buy it!

Fudgy and chocolate, strongly reminds of Kees Caramel Fudge Stout, but with a slight barrel hint. Quiet nice and dessert-y, but for a KBS it's a bit underwhelming.

Dry dark chocolate fudge in a crisp malted stout. Notes of oak barrel tannins and a faint bourbon on the finish. Some creaminess comes in at the tail end of the crisp astringent effervescence that adds to the overall rich piece of good chocolate vibe.
